[SCCCB] Resignation of my position

Anne,

I know you have had a lot to juggle the last few months, and I have
thoroughly appreciated your dedication as secretary.
Could I convince you to maintain your position until April. Of course, we
will have to have some one fill in as secretary for the months you will be
unable to attend. We will need to have a nominating committee search
members for the secretary position along with the 1st vice-president, and
member-at-large.
If you could hang in there until April so the election will take place at
the normal election date, it would help.
I hope you take this under consideration.
I really wish we could have had our January meeting, but as you know, we
cannot control the weather. It seems every January or February we run into
this problem.
Stay warm and stay safe.

Thank you Anne.

Sincerely,

Beverly

Subject: [SCCCB] Resignation of my position
Importance: High

Hello all:
Too bad about not having a meeting tomorrow night. I was able to attend
that one. However, I am not able to attend the next two meetings ,
February and March.
Consequently, I respectively resign my position as secretary of the SCCCB
as of January 9, 2011. This is due to my son, Sam's extracurricular
activities and Jim's work schedule.

I will still write the newsletters and send them out to our members and
maintain the membership list since these are things I can do from home on
my own time. I will be glad to do the newsletters even when we get a new
secretary if you need me to do so.

I suggest voting on a new secretary at the February 7th meeting and having
them take the minutes either that night or in March.

I am sending my membership dues for Jim and I into Beverly this week. I
completed the MCB grant letter too and will submit it this week as well.
I apoligize if this causes any inconvenience for you at all. Jim and Iwill
still be glad to assist in any way possible especially for the Trivia
Night.

I have documents on a flashdrive I can give to the next secretary and will
be glad to assist in training them in anyway possible.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Sincerely,
Anne Murphy
