It is a shame that this service was discontinued but could it be that it just
wasn't beeing used and the company felt it was no longer needed?
Whirlpool has always gotten high marks from AFB for making appliances that are
accessible without a lot of accommodations. John ----- Original Message -----

help disabled</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>The Whirlpool Corporation has disbanded their
Special Needs for the Disabled Department. They used to provide marked
dials for their washers. I called today to get a new one as mine is
about to come apart. I was told they no longer provide special knobs for
Whirlpool appliances. It's a shame as their appliances are great.
I have had Whirlpool washers and dryers for over forty years but no
more. I have registered a protest but I'm only one person and probably
nothing will come from it. Just remember this if you are shopping for a
Maytag, Whirlpool or Kitchen Aid appliance. Phyllis</FONT></DIV>
