<P class=MsoNormal>Just a reminder, the Governor's Council on Disability, the
Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) and MO Centers for Independent
Living (MOCIL) will once again be sponsoring the Legislative Education
Project. The agenda for the 2010 LEP will be the same as last year.
LEP will be held from February through April. LEP will begin at 1:00 p.m.
<B>on Monday</B> with training about the legislative process and how to
communicate with policy makers. A tour of the Capitol will also be
included on Monday afternoon. LEP participants will spend Tuesday and
Wednesday meeting with legislators, attending committee hearings and working on
their issues. Those new to the LEP must be accompanied by an experienced
mentor. <B>Those attending LEP will be expected to commit to staying three days
in Jefferson City, Monday through Wednesday, </B>with the option of staying
Thursday as well<B>.<o:p></o:p></B></P>

commit to spending three days in Jefferson City.</B> The one day training
is only available on <B>Tuesdays </B>and requires a minimum of 7 participants
per group. If there is a single individual request, the individual will join
other participants to meet the minimum requirement. These trainings are only
