color=#000000><FONT face="Times New Roman">My name is Leroy Welch; I am at
present the Public Relations Chairman for the Missouri Council of the
blind.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I want to run again for that
office at this year’s convention in October.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I have been a member of MCB for 31 years
now.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>My wife Loretta has been a
member that long also.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I have
attended 22 ACB Conventions and all the MCB Conventions.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I have served several different terms as
Public Relations Chairman.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Also I
have served a membership chairman.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Member of the Board of Directors and several times as representative on
the Board for west central workers of the blind and county line council of the
blind.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>My wife and I have attended
the legislative days every year also and enjoy talking to the senators and
representatives about different bills the <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">Missouri</st1:place></st1:State> council approves and disapproves that
represent the blind.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We enjoy this
very much.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I helped to start the
West Pains Affiliate West Central Workers of the Blind, The Kirksville Affiliate
and County Line Council of the blind.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>I have no problems meeting the different people and promoting the
Missouri Council of the Blind everywhere I go.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I feel I am still qualified to run for
the PR office.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We handed several
materials out at Power Up at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City
w:st="on">Columbia</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">MO</st1:State></st1:place>
this April and met a lot of people there.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>We will be attending the Children’s Conference at <st1:City
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Jefferson City</st1:place></st1:City> in October
first before our convention. I enjoy every minute of my office and will do every
thing I can to work for MCB in any capacity.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I sent several affiliates out PR
products this year for health fairs etc., that they needed to promote MCB for
their own affiliates.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>May God
richly bless all of you and I would appreciate your vote for Public Relations
chairman once again in October.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">

and I have three daughters. Rachel Houston a school teacher in <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Wynne</st1:City>, <st1:State
w:st="on">Arkansas</st1:State></st1:place> and she is married to an Assembly of
God minister.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>She has 2 sons Alex
10 and Aaron – 8.</FONT></P>

color=#000000 size=3>Sarah Adcock is an assistant Manager at Wal-Mart in
<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Harrisonville</st1:City>, <st1:State
w:st="on">Mo</st1:State></st1:place><SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Her husband works at the DC Wal-Mart Plant in Harrisonville.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>They have 1 son Justin – 5.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>He is an adopted little boy.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Our other daughter Esther works at a
photographer studio in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City
w:st="on">Columbia</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">Mo</st1:State></st1:place>
and she is single.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>They are all our
joys to have as daughters and grandsons.</FONT></P>
