night and made several major decisions. The call lasted approximately two and
a half hours. I sincerely appreciate all that participated in the conference
and the input they had.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>We approved three new members at large which
brings our total membership to 787.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The board also approved Janelle Edwards as
the new Adaptive Technology Grant chair. Janelle replaces Franklin Johnson in
this position. My thanks to Franklin for serving in this capacity for the past
five years.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The board also voted to reduce the rate for
mileage that we are currently paying. It was decided to keep in line with the
state of Missouri's mileage rate which is currently $0.50 per mile. The rate
that MCB had been paying was $0.60 per mile and by reducing it by $0.10 per
mile this will save us several thousand each year.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The board also approved a revision of the
Executive Director job description and the salary range. The job description
will be posted to our web site soon for your viewing. The salary range for the
E.D. is $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 annually depending on experience.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The board also approved a new position for
MCB. This position is a Field Marketing Representative. This position focuses
on fund raising for MCB. The job description will also be posted on our web
site. The salary range for this position will be $40,000.00 to $50,000.00
annually depending on experience.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
