<p class=MsoNormal>As most of you know we have been the target of an investigation
of the Missouri Attorney General and had several items we needed to comply with.
I received a call from our attorney, Debbie Greider yesterday stating that the
Attorney General has closed our file. He was impressed with our diligence,
speediness in our compliance and all of the steps we have taken to insure what
has happened doesn’t happen again. Also he was pleased with all we
have done to make MCB a viable non-profit organization. So now so long as
nothing else comes up to cause concern, we are now released from anymore
scrutiny from his office. This is great news and we can give a big thanks
to our attorney Debbie Greider for all of the hard work she has done.
Also a big thanks to Bev Armstrong and others that have worked diligently to
make this all possible. It’s a big relief to once again be the
organization we should be in the eyes of the Missouri State Attorney General.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial Rounded MT Bold","sans-serif";
color:#00B050'>I might also add that we have settled with the Henderson
Management Company and will be receiving a settlement of $96,000.00 over the
next four years. We have also been released from the clause of the
contract that will now allow us to start our own thrift store or contract with
another management company. My thanks to the thrift store committee, Franklin
Johnson, Trudy Steele, Bev Kaskadden and James Hollins for their diligence in
seeing this through.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

pension and that is looking really good for us also. Although we have won
the settlement against the state of Missouri, there is a lot of work to be done
to determine how the money is to be divided and Debbie Greider is working very
hard to make sure each person receives what they deserve.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
