[Missouri-l] Introduction and questions

Hello everyone,

I've been a member of this list before, though it's been quite a while ago. 
I don't know if anyone here will remember me. So I thought I would post an 
introduction. Plus, as my subject says, I do have some questions.

First of all, my name is Terri. I am 36, and I lived in St. Louis for about 
2 years, starting in 2005. I think I'm remembering that correctly. I joined 
this list back then, to learn some things, and you all were quite helpful to 
me, which was very appreciative.

Anyway, I am considering moving back to Missouri again. I liked it out 
there, and I miss my friends out there.
However, I have some concerns about doing this.

First of all, one of my friends told me about the situation with the 
pention, and medicaide. He told me that if I moved out there, that I may not 
get either of these.
Can anyone tell me if this is true?
He said he didn't think they were giving it to people coming to the state, 
just people already there. But he really wasn't sure. I don't want to make 
this move, and put myself in a huge bind. That's what I'd end up doing.
Is there a number where I can call to get information, or something?

Also, I was looking over the requirements of the pention, and there is one 
requirement I don't understand. Now the last time I lived out there I had 
the pention. So I figure I'll have it again. But this is just something I'm 
wondering about. It states you must be in good standing.
Does anyone know what this means? Does this have to do with money, or 
something like that?
Again, I am just curious?

Well I will close for now. Any help you all can give me will be much 
appreciated.
