[Missouri-l] Phone Calls!

All,

 

                We really have our work cut out for us today.  If you have
read the articles I just sent then you know that what the Senate
appropriations committee is wanting to do is very troubling to say the
least.

 

What we need to do today is to make more phone calls.  Let them know that it
will be very difficult for a blind person that lives on a very low income to
be able to pay the premiums, the deductible and the co-pay that the Senate
appropriations committee is suggesting.

 

We first of all need to call the chair of the Senate appropriations
committee, Kirk Schaefer and make our voice be heard.  His number is:

We also need to call our own Senators.  The budget will most likely go to
the Senate floor tomorrow for approval.  If we call our Senators and
encourage them to vote against the proposal the appropriations has
suggested, then our chances are a lot better for it not to pass.  Once it
goes to the conference committee then changes can't be made.  If enough
people call they will listen to us.  If you don't know who your Senator is,

phone calls.  The time is short!  We only have today to work on this.
