Telecommute Customer Support Representative

Convergys is pleased to invite you to apply for an entry-level 
Telecommute Customer Support Representative position.

*** After the completion of paid training at our state-of-the-art 
site located in Hazelwood, you will then work at home.  ***

The Customer Support Representative is dedicated to providing 
first-call resolution by listening to customers attentively and 
demonstrating empathy, as resolving troubleshooting and customer 
service issues.

STARTING PAY RATE:

$10.00/hr

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

* Employees will be required to spend at least 4 weeks at our 
Hazelwood facility for paid training before working at home.
* Must live within 50 miles of Hazelwood, MO to apply for this 
position.
* Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
* Minimum of High-school diploma or GED equivalency; attentive to 
detail; good listening and responding skills.
* Proficiency with navigating the Internet; multi-tasking; 
self-motivated and a self-starter.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

* Ability to directly connect (i.e.  no wireless routers) the 
Convergys TCA equipment to a working ISP with minimum speed 
requirements of 500 kbps (.5mb)upload and 1500 kbps (1.5mg) 
download speeds for Cable and DSL
* Ability to meet the CVG Home Agent Voice Quality Test 
requirements of 3.8 or higher
* Separate area defined for a working environment free of noise 
and distractions to include other family members, children and 
pets
* A wired router with at least 2 free Ethernet ports to connect 
the Wyse terminal and hard phone unit.  (RECOMMENDED ROUTERS ARE 
Linksys, Belkin, Cisco, or NetGear)
* 4 Ethernet cables to support the set up of the Wyse terminal 
and hard phone unit
* PC monitors to connect to the Wyse terminal
* Chair, desk or sturdy table to place TCA equipment and phone
* Locks to secure doors and windows to prevent inappropriate 
access to TCA equipment.

ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to perform light hand activity work at a 
computer/telephone station in an office environment.
* Position is primarily sedentary.
* May stretch or stand at workstation for short periods at 
employees option, as long as such activity does not detract from 
the employees work, or interfere with other employees.
