[Missouri-l] A slightly revised plea for help from FIA

Greetings:

 Thanks to those folks who have provided testimonials for the FIA 
Showcase; for those who haven't yet...

We are trying to get some funding to underwrite our Showcase, as 
this event has recently depleted our treasury; it used to be our 
greatest source of funding.  We would like to use any profits we 
might make to increase our scholarship fund and to improve the 
effectiveness of our advocacy efforts.

 No, we are not asking you to join us, although you are certainly 
welcome to do so.  We are asking, though, that Showcase fans 
explain to us by e-mail what makes the Showcase a highlight of 
the Conference and Convention (or why you are a fan).  We hope to 
use these submissions to buttress our case for money.  It would 
also be helpful if you put your name and the position you hold in 
ACB (if you have a position).
