Rehabilitation Council Meeting Information

Meeting Notice For All Persons With Interest In Services For The Blind

Conducted By Rehabilitation Services for the Blind (RSB) and

The State Rehabilitation Council for The Blind (SRC).

 

We need your input....

 

The RSB and the SRC invite you to a Public Meeting.  We would like to hear
your concerns and comments regarding the services we provide for Missourians
who are blind or visually impaired.  There will be a presentation on
"Transition Needs for Young People Who are Blind or Visually Impaired."
After which all comments or questions regarding blind or visual impaired
services will be discussed.   Please plan to attend.

The Ramada Oasis Convention Center is conveniently located off of major
Interstate 44 in Springfield, Missouri.  The hotel is within walking
distance of a wide selection of restaurants, shopping supercenter, and a
golf course.

Directions

US-65 From Branson

1.    Merge onto US-65 N toward SPRINGFIELD.

2.    Merge onto I-44 W toward TULSA.

3.    Take exit 80A south (to Glenstone Avenue)

4.    Off of exit ramp, follow road south apx. 1/8 mile on Glenstone Avenue
through one stoplight.

5.    The Ramada Oasis will be on the left-hand side of the road.

6.    End at 2546 N. Glenstone Ave, Springfield MO

I-44 From St. Louis

1.    Merge onto I-44 W.

2.    Take exit 80A south (to Glenstone Avenue)

3.    Off of exit ramp, follow road south apx. 1/8 mile on Glenstone Avenue
through one stoplight.

4.    The Ramada Oasis will be on the left-hand side of the road.

5.    End at 2546 N. Glenstone Ave, Springfield MO

MO-13 From Kansas City

1.    Merge onto I-70 E.

2.    Merge onto I-435 S via exit number 8A toward WICHITA

3.    Merge onto US-71 S toward GRANDVIEW.

4.    Take the MO-7 S exit toward CLINTON.

5.    Turn LEFT onto MO-7/E 275TH ST/275TH. Continue to
follow MO-7 S

6.    MO-7 S becomes MO-13 S.

7.    Turn LEFT.

8.    Merge onto I-44 E via the ramp- on the left.

9.    Take exit 80A south (to Glenstone Avenue)

10. Off of exit ramp, follow road south apx. 1/8 mile on Glenstone Avenue
through one stoplight.

11. The Ramada Oasis will be on the left-hand side of the road.

12. End at 2546 N. Glenstone Ave, Springfield MO

>From Tulsa, OK

1.    Take the I-244 E/1ST ST ramp.

2.    Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the I-244 E ramp.

3.    Merge onto US-412 E.

4.    Merge onto I-44 E toward JOPLIN (Portions toll).

5.    Take exit 80A south (to Glenstone Avenue)

6.    Off of exit ramp, follow road south apx. 1/8 mile on Glenstone Avenue
through one stoplight.

7.    The Ramada Oasis will be on the left-hand side of the road.

8.      End at 2546 N. Glenstone Ave, Springfield MO
