Apologies for the long absence of a newsletter.  Since April we have elected a new President, John Herzberg, who has unfortunately had to resign due to personal affairs.  So, the acting president Steve Schnelle will appoint a nominating committee at the next SCCCB meeting on November 1. The committee will determine who will  be qualified and willing to fill the vacancy of President.  Voting will take place at the January 3, 2011 meeting. 

 

This summer we had our annual Installation dinner with the Duchesne Key Club hosting and it was a great success.  Also, John Herzberg had his annual BBQ which was delicious and a lot of fun.

 

The annual MCB Convention was in Jefferson City this year.  Denny Huff was re-elected President for the next two years.

 

Technological advancements: Verizon has a new affordable and speak accessible cell phone for only $39.99 called the Samsung Haven.

  a.. Easy Pumpkin Muffins1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix 
  b.. 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree ; 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ;  1/2 teaspoon ground  ; nutmeg ; 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves  ;  
Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 12 cup muffin pan or line with paper liners. In a  large bowl, mix together the cake mix, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until smooth.   Pour equal amounts of batter into the prepared muffin cups. 
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
