Newswire:
During our next meeting, we will hear from Linda Samulski, Student Services
coordinator for Guide Dogs Of The Desert. With so many schools to choose
from when making such an important choice, it is best to know all you can
about the one you are considering. Linda feels so strongly about this school
all three of her guide dogs have been trained and obtained from it. Are
there special considerations in having a desert location? How long has guide
dogs Of The Desert been in existence? What is its mission, purpose, and
history? How many classes are held during the year? Does its location
attract different types of students? What types of dogs do they use? What is
their puppy raising program like? How does Guide Dogs of The Desert differ
from other schools? Whom do they serve? What is the physical layout of the
campus? Why has Linda gotten all three of her guide dogs there? If you are
thinking about getting a guide dog for the first time and are curious about
what happens during your training, Linda will acquaint you with this fine
institution. If you are thinking of getting another guide dog after living
some years without one and want to pursue a different school this time,
please come to You And Your Guide Dog. As a student herself, Linda knows
firsthand what training is like and what to consider when choosing a school.
Without doubt, getting a dog is a big decision. This might be just the
school you're looking for.
