Independent Living Specialist


 

Services for Independent Living is seeking a full-time Independent Living
Specialist to fulfill duties in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
include case management, information and referral, advocacy, independent
living skills training, peer counseling and other related services to people
with disabilities in a seven county service area. Some travel will be
required.  Bachelor's degree is required in psychology, rehabilitation,
social work or related area. A combination of education and work experience
may be considered.  Prefer prior experience working with people with
disabilities. To provide excellent customer service, effective verbal and
written communication skills are necessary. Bilingual preferred. Persons

benefits.  Must be able to submit and pass a Missouri Family care safety
registry background screening prior to employment.
