[Missouri-l] Board Meetings

At first, I thought it would be a good idea to have regional representation 
 for Board Meetings, but it opens-up a logistical nightmare.  Why?  How  
will a regional representative know the mind set of different affiliates'  
members unless he or she would be present at their monthly meetings.  It  could 
be done in a metropolitan areas like St. Louis, Springfield, or here in  
Kansas City, but what about regions where the distances are great between each 
 affiliate?  It would take time and is costly, if a driver is involved to  
cart that regional representative from meeting site to meeting site.  
 
Perhaps we could ask other states what they do, such as California, Ohio,  
or Pennsylvania, where its major metropolitan areas are each side of each of 
 these respective states.
