[Missouri-l] Computer Question

Hi:

You can indeed convert "Pub" files into "TXT: files. Just open the document
(JAWS won't tell you when it's opened, so I jjust assume it's open after ten
seconds), then control-f, a for save as, then tab once and down-arrow until
you find TXT. You'll get some messages about losing format, pictures, etc.,
but just tell the computer that you don't care, and you'll get a perfectly
readable document.

Good luck, Peter

Scott,

Sometimes a screen reader has a difficult time reading
publisher documents. I don't work with Publisher much so I can't be much
help. Supposedly you can convert pub documents to other formats such as
pdf, rtf, txt and Word documents. For more information about doing that,
