Help with rewriting the United states of america rehabilitation act of 1973
Sign the Petition : 20 Letters and Emails Sent So Far
The United States Rehabilitation act of 1973 needs to be changed. Please
help all
blind citizens including all newly blind citizens and those citizens that
have been
blind their whole lives. Help us by prioritizing funding for National
Federation
of the Blind training centers by telling state government agencies for the
blind
and visually impaired that National Federation of the blind training
facilities provide
the greatest chances for gaining high end independence and high end
competency in
Skills of blindness. Please rewrite the rehabilitation act of 1973 stating
that top
priorities go to funding NFB oriented training facilities rather than
providing the
funding to government operated training facilities for the blind as state
agencies
should pay out of state and in-state National Federation of the Blind
rehabilitation
programs as a main priority. Also state that state agencies for the blind
that ignore
and deny such requests by their clients get fined for up to 100000000
dollars for
carelessness and neglegince.

I completely agree with this! if this happens, more fundings can lead to
more training
and even in some cases, better housing and schooling.
