Newswire:
She is the author of Where Angels Walk and writes a story each week
about angels with that title. Her stories of the week about their many ways
of entering our lives are a source of encouragement to those experiencing
moments of doubt or trouble. Joan didn't always write about this topic. At
the start of her writing career, she was encouraged by fellow writer and
friend, Anne Toland Serb to begin writing about raising four sons and a
daughter. After several books together, Joan's son had his experience on a
country road with his angel in a time of great need, and the rest, as they
say is history. Gentle and soft-spoken, she embodies the spirit of
Christmas. On past shows, she has discussed motherhood and angels, but this
time she will discuss the spirit of Christmas and how we live it today. In a
time of great need and a world in which materialism seems the master, how
can we keep the spirit of Christmas and the holiday season alive? How and
where do you find the happiness in this joyful time? Are their simple ways
in which our love for all can be celebrated? Do you have an angel story of
your own to share?Joan Wester Anderson knows the joy of angels and family
and has seen her children grow to loving adulthood and remain close and
loving as friends. This, for many, is reason enough to celebrate the season.
Sit down with a cup of eggnog, nibble on those delicious cookies baked just
for Christmas. Sit back and enjoy with us Joan Wester Anderson. She is a
cherished friend and part of our Books And Beyond family we love to share.
As you listen, any worries or concerns you have will just float away. We
love her and know you will too.
