In preparation for the next COAT meeting on September 17, we ask you to think about all that has happened and what you and your constituents have done since our last meeting -- May 28, 2009 (a long time ago).

We want to learn about:

-- actions you took in response to and since the Action Alert when the bill (H.R. 3101) was introduced at the end of June (i.e., posted or distributed the Action Alert to your members, published articles in your newsletters to inform and encourage your members to contact their congressional representatives);
-- activities you undertook to increase co-sponsorship of H.R. 3101 (i.e., sent letters, called, or met with your congressional representatives); and
-- actions you will take (i.e., contact or meet with your congressional representatives again).

If you are planning to attend the meeting (in person or by phone), please tell us what you've been doing to get the word out about H.R. 3101 and to increase co-sponsorship.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can reply to this message and share your news with all of us or you can send your news to me to share at the meeting.
