Subject: [leadership] Cosponsor Update on Quiet Car Legislation

I wanted to provide a brief update regarding cosponsorship of H.r.734, The
Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 and its companion bill, S.841. I
am pleased to announce that 8 new cosponsors have signed on to the House
bill which brings the total number up to 120 supporters. Along with this,
the Senate bill has garnered another 2 cosponsors which doubles its
cosponsorship. The list of new cosponsors is below. This next week is a
great time for you to stop by district offices to thank your members for
supporting these peaces of legislation or to continue to  lobby for support.
