      All:

      I just spoke to our lobbyists in Jefferson City.  HB 21 (which does not include transit funding) is currently being filibustered on the Senate floor - it just goes to show how contentious appropriations debates are this year.

      Our lobbyists expect HB22 to go to the floor later this afternoon. They recommend we continue to call Senators' offices and urge their support for KC funding if this is introduced by Senator Jolie Justus.

      It is a long shot, but we can keep trying.
