[Missouri-l] Strategic Plan

The St. Louis Council met today, and discussed whether or not we had any
suggestions for future goals the MCB might strive to achieve.  We concluded
that it would be a very good thing if the Strategic Plan state that the MCB could work to get a blind
person to be a part of the Family Support Division on eligibility
requirements for those receiving the Blind Pension.  We felt that, in view
of our limited funds at this time, the best thing the MCB could do would be
to advocate for the blind citizens of Missouri.  Also, if I count correctly, there are 5 past presidents of MCB still living.  Three of those go back 20 years or so and certainly have a good grasp of our history and what we have hoped to achieve in the past.  It would seem to me that these 5 should certainly be serving on this Strategic Plan Committee.  I believe they could offer much in the way of guidance and direction.
