Survey of Parents to Assess Leadership Qualities of

Principals/Directors and Superintendents in Schools for the Blind

 

Dear parent:

You have been randomly selected to participate as a "judge" in a study to
assess Leadership Qualities of Principals/Directors and Superintendents in
residential schools for the blind. We appreciate your voluntary
participation as a research judge.

 

As a judge, your responsibility is to provide us your opinions on leadership
qualities in the residential school where your child who is blind or low
vision currently attends. Your opinions, as well as those of other judges,
will be used as benchmark information for designing a questionnaire for
parents. 

 

Enclosed are two forms: one form is for your opinions of essential
leadership qualities for principals/directors; the second is for
superintendents. On each form, please state the essential leadership
qualities for effectiveness, and clearly explain what you mean on the lines
provided. Please write your top ten (10) opinions in any order. 

 

Only one person in a household should complete the forms. Kindly note that
your information will be kept confidential. Also, the information you
provide will be used solely for this university-approved project.

 

Please, within 2 days of receiving this form, clearly complete the
