Our guest tonight is the prolific romance author Barbara Bretton. Four days
after submitting her first manuscript to a publisher in 1982, she got the
phone call all writers hope to receive.
Since then, Barbara has published more than 40 books. Born in New York City,
she has received many awards throughout her long career.
How have romance novels changed? How does she look back on books written
early in her career? Does Barbara reread books she's written and what
changes would she make? How does life experience affect her writing?
Who has been the biggest influence in Barbara's career? Does she have a
favorite book and why does she love having written that particular novel?
To hear an extraordinary romance author, please call 218-844-3388. Put in
the pin code 26657 and then press the pound key. The show begins at 8 P.M.
eastern time. Please arrive a few minutes early, so we can spend a few
minutes getting acquainted. There will be time for questions. Come share an
evening with a lovely lady with much to say about her craft and passion for
books. .
