JOB Announcement

 

 

TITLE: Field Marketing Representative

 

LOCATION: 5453 Chippewa, St. Louis, Missouri

Annual Salary: $40,000 to $50,000

REPORTS TO: President or Executive Director

 

JOB OBJECTIVE: 

.        Develop and maintain funding sources in order to support MCB
programs.

.        Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional activities

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

.        Writing grant applications to support current or proposed MCB
programs and activities. 

Develops annual marketing strategies in conjunction with the Resource and
Development Committee that will focus on meeting organizational objectives

.        Delivery of all marketing activity within agreed budget

.        The achievement of frequent, timely and positive media coverage for
the Missouri Council of the Blind and its programs across all available
media

.        Seek out prospective donors, individuals or corporate, for
financial support to the organization

.        Attend various health fairs, technology symposiums or any other
public event concerning the blind and visually impaired to promote the
Missouri Council of the Blind

.        Required to generate and maintain at minimum twice the dollar
amount of own annual salary. 

 

RELATIONSHIPS AND ROLES: 

Internal / External Cooperation

.        Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with office staff and
board of directors

.        Maintain an effective working relationship with other organizations
working for people with disabilities

.        Proactively establish and maintain effective working team
relationships with all committees

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

.        Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field. 

.        4 - 6 years successful fund raising experience

.        Successful grant writing

.        Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining
marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives

.        Willingness to travel

.        Proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising, promotions,
annual fund raising events and activities

.        Strong understanding of organization objectives and goals
