Elizabeth Moore has been chosen for July's Member of the Month Award.
Elizabeth has done much to promote the Braille Revival League of Missouri.
Congratulations Elizabeth and thank you for all you have done and are doing
for MCB.

Member of the Month Committee

Nancy Hodson

David Rosenkoetter

Susan Sanderson

Yvonne Schnitzler

Nominated by: Ida Scotti

As most of you know, the Braille Revival League of Missouri was on the verge
of collapsing. Since Elizabeth Moore was elected president of the BRL, she
has been working diligently on improving membership, recruiting new members,
and calling fallen away members. She has organized a raffle to help raise
funds which will take place at the state convention. She is doing a fine job
getting the group back on its feet.

Elizabeth is not averse to hard work. She took on most of the responsibility
of organizing the Louis Braille birthday party which was well attended. All
present enjoyed the guest speakers, entertainment, displays, and
refreshments. She is a very busy member of the Agape Council of the Blind as
she is going to school and sells Avon products part time.

As a member of BRL and having seen what Elizabeth has accomplished,
Elizabeth deserves to be commended as a winner of the Member of the Month
Award for all the effort she has extended for the good of the BRL and MCB.

Sincerely,

Ida Scotti
