OBJECTIVES: 
 The sponsor focuses primarily on supporting charitable
organizations that are making a difference in the lives of children
with disabilities. Resources are also allocated to help support
organizations focused on providing healthcare to the uninsured. 

 Programs that serve children with disabilities under the age of 21
that address the following: accessibility to physical activity; early
intervention; health and rehabilitative services. The sponsor defines
disabilities as impairments that limit one or more routine activities
of daily living. The following are types of disabilities considered
for CVS Caremark Charitable Trust Grants: physical disabilities;
developmental disabilities; and sensory disabilities. 

 Healthcare organizations that are dedicated to improving the
quality of health and well-being of uninsured seniors, adults, youth
and children that address the following: pre-natal Care; screening and
preventive programs; better healthcare outcomes; and general health
programs. 






ELIGIBILITY
 Eligible applicants are Tax Exempt 501(c)(3) organizations. The
sponsor will review only one proposal per organization per year.
