Yeah, I guess a smear campaign wouldn't be the right way to handle this. Soon enough all his lies about the blind will spread and his voters will make the right decidion and vote him down.

On a brighter note I did sign up several more folks from the St. Louis Lighthouse today. Yeah!

While I feel that Rep. Silvey is not suited for the office he holds or for
the senate, I do not think that we should do anything against him at this
time unless it is what we are trying to do with the petition and 
informational calls and e-mails.   By creating a smear situation, it will 
only cause him to "dig in his heels" and become more hardnosed about the
healthnet funds.  Once the budget is settled and Silvey begins campaigning,
all those in his area and district can then make it know just how he
performed in the committees.
