I mentioned this to someone else, but I am going to say it again. This is
an election year, is it not? Do they want to alienate the blind, their
family, friends, and supporters? We are a very large group of voters
here!!!

Good for you, RIck. It will be very important to hold our
representatives accountable for their justifications and their actions.
A standard that says a blind person must fall below the poverty threshold
to get state medicaid is pretty grim.
