[ATI] i phone vs android

I never rely on a bluetooth keyboard, i dont own one.
I do just fine. I dont like the idea that apple makes developers pay to develope aps.

  I use a bluetooth keyboard with my iPod, and I love it.  I use it a lot of stuff, from face book, to skype.  Apple has done an awesome job with accessibility!  For those of you who aren't sure, the IPod is just like having an IPhone, without the phone capabilities, and the camera isn't as good in the IPod.  I'm praying that changes with the next upgrade so I can utalize some more of the OCR and bar code apps.

   but  would the android  be just fine with a key board  for  calling and texting  wiht the built in  program and maybe contacts and appointments ? key boards are my fav  too.  and I am due for a new phone with my company

        First, I am no expert on this subject, but I have done a fair amount of research.

        Blind Cool Tech Podcasts 1542 and 1550 cover all of the ins and outs of Androids. Each carrier does carry at least one choice with a keyboard, and yes, there are a ton of apps, free and otherwise, for the Android.

        If you are used to the IPhone, but the Android phone are quite accessible. Google does have an accessibility tab that will allow you to install Talkback, a screenreader that is pretty good from what I have observed. The problem there is not yet a really good accessible web browser unless you spend the $95 for the Mobile Accessibility suite from Code Factory.

        I personally don't have a phone, but an Android phone will be my next phone. Like you, Molly, I truly feel like I want and need a keyboard. I know the IPhone screen if fully accessible with Voice Over, but this is a personal preference for me.

       I would love to hear about this as i too  need a key board  and my cell phone company  has  android  but do not know what  one of those is the simplest  to use   as I have to keep things rather simple or I get over whelmed and then  would not use it

        I am in the market for a new cell phone. I love the I phone but I liked to text and email and I feel that I would need a key board at all times. I heard the droid at least some have key boards. Does the droid offer as many accessible apps as the I phone there are so many.
