ATI Facebook

I have been using Facebook on a kind of a limited basis for several months, mostly to exchange messages with friends. I find the main facebook site very complicated and ddifficult to use with JAWS. It is doable but not really worth the trouble for what I want to do. I have found it much easier to use the site called m.facebook.com which is for mobile phone users but also works with computers. It is much easier to use and comes without all of the games and applications that i don't want or need. It is easy to use to read posts and make replies and to send messages to friends. But for some reason, I can no longer use it, although others seem to be using it fine. When I go to m.facebook.com I get instructions to download a file of unknown type with the option to save or cancel. No matter what I do, I can't get past it. Even if I save the stupid file, I can't get on the site. All of us blind users had this problem a few months ago but it corrected itself in a couple of days. this has gone on for about two weeks and doesn't seem to affect other users. This happened right after our computer crashed and everything had to be re-installed. The other facebook site that was usable by blind users, facebook lite has been discontinued. Is anyone else using m.facebook.com and if so, is there a way to get past that file download message? John
