ATI Virus On My Space

It writes itself to the boot sector of the hard drive.

When you reformat and it loads the boot sector, it writes itself back to the
hard drive.

It's a variant of MAX ++(pluss pluss).

As soon as I find out more I will let you know.

How could any virus not be removed by reformatting?  Color me skeptical.

I don't normally post virus warnings, but this is very important.

A new virus has been discovered on My Space.  Simply visiting the My Space
site and opening certain web pages will infect your PC.

The virus is undectable by any antivirus program at this time but an
innoculation is being worked on.

The virus is designed so that even reformatting your hard drive does not
remove it.

I don't have all of the info at this time but will send it as soon as I get
it.

In the meantime, if you use My Space I would highly recommend that you stay
off of it.
