I would like to take this opportunity to announce my plan for re-election to the MCB Board as your First Vice-President. As a child growing up in the state of Missouri, I learned of MCB early in life. AT the age of 18, I became a member of my local chapter, where I immediately began the journey of representing MCB in various capacities. I quickly became membership chair and then after a single term, I was challenged with the task of being a young president in an organization full of mature mentors, who guided me along the way . During this time, I was instrumental in creating what is now known as the Youth Hospitality held annually at our state convention. I also assisted in creating the Youth Sponsorship program with the task of encouraging the future of MCB to learn all they can about this our great organization. I have served as your second vice president and from there became your first vice president. MCB is in the midst of a time that calls for hard decisions to be made and as your first vice president I plan to continue making decisions that will drive this organization forward. I continue to bring to the organization a passion to serve and the added desire and ability to reach and understand what is to be the future generations of this organization. My current position with a partnering agency of MCB (RSB) as a Rehabilitation Teacher and appointed member of that agency's Staff Council are just two more opportunities I have been given to assist in furthering the education of the communities in which we live and to encourage the support of this organization. I currently hold a degree in Communications from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Most know me as a quiet individual, however, that same group know me as the individual who makes decisions when necessary and one who possesses the problem solving and organizational skills needed to make the hard decisions in times such as these. So at convention in October, I ask you to make the decision allowing me to serve you the membership, as your first vice president for one more term.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 2 Tim. 2:3
