Whereas, traditional MCB banquets have been full service, sit down dinners; and

Whereas, it is very difficult and time-consuming for blind persons to go through buffet lines independently; and

Whereas, asking sighted attenders at the banquet to assist blind people through a buffet line could be construed as taking unnecessary advantage of their generosity; and

Whereas, the hotels do provide sit down banquets with full service:

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved, in Convention this 15th day of October, in St. Joseph, Missouri, that the banquet be a full service banquet rather than buffet style.
